If you need to cancel or miss your imaging appointment
Call the clinic as soon as you know. Some clinics ask for at least 24 hours' notice and may charge a fee for late cancellations.

- Call the clinic. Say you need to cancel or rebook.
- Give as much notice as you can. Slots are in demand, and early notice lets someone else use it.
- Rebook right away so the test isn't delayed.
If you miss an appointment
Some clinics charge a missed-appointment fee and may notify your ordering provider. Ask about the policy when you book.
If you arrive late or unprepared
You may need to rebook, especially for ultrasounds that need fasting or a full bladder.
